Ruhi is an innovative dancer, choreographer, creator, and dance instructor based in New York/New Jersey. She has been dancing for over 18 years and has built a strong foundation in Indian classical dance – Bharatanatyam and completed her Arangetram in 2015. Besides Bharatanatyam, she has trained in many different dance styles including Jazz, Contemporary, Bollywood, and Ballet. She has also completed a dance boot camp training under Terence Lewis. Ruhi has been teaching Bollywood/Semiclassical classes for 10 years to students ranging from preschoolers to adults and has choreographed awarding-winning dances. She also has intensive performance experience, performing at various competitions and prestigious venues such as NJPAC, India Day Parade, Naya Andaz, and FIA. During college, Ruhi was on the executive board member of Jhoom Dynamix, a Bollywood dance team. In 2018 she served as a judge for the Vibha Vibe dance competition. Ruhi loves sharing her passion for this art form and helping other connect with themselves through movement.
